Kavita Kwan

I was so moved when I received my spiritual name in the summer of 2006. It means 'the Princess/Lioness of God who is touched by poems and poetry, and who walks with grace and power throughout her life. I hope that each day I follow my spiritual path of conveying truth through poetry.

I decided to train as a Kundalini yoga teacher with the Amrit Nam Sarovar School in 2005, after practising Hatha and Kundalini yoga for a few years in Cambridge. I am going on to study Level 2 of the teacher training, as well as starting peri-natal yoga Birthlight teacher training classes. Apart from teaching yoga, I maintain this website, amongst others, and have set up a charity supporting programmes that help women and children in East Timor.
