About the Centre

Since opening in November 2005, the Sukhmani Yoga and Mediation Centre has been offering regular morning sadhana classes in kundalini yoga and meditation, chanting, and hatha yoga

The Centre was created by students of the teachings of Yogi Bhajan and Karta Singh, one of his early students. The Centre takes its name from the Sukhmani Sahib, the name given to the set of beautiful hymns divided into 24 sections which appear in the Siri Guru Granth Sahib, the Sikh Holy Book on page 262. This set of 192 hymns were compiled by the fifth Sikh Guru, Guru Arjan Dev Ji, the fifth of the Ten Gurus of Sikhism. The word Sukhmani literally means Peace in your Mind. (Click here to learn more)
