Our “Official Opening” is happening over the weekend of September 13 and 14.
The idea of an official Opening seems a little crazy seeing as the Sukhmani Centre has had its doors open for more than 3 years now! But we have never really “got out there” and told everyone we are here. I was moved to go more public after so many people telling me they had never heard about us despite living in Cambridge for many years, loving yoga and enjoying the classes (once they heard about them!) In truth I was actually a little scared, I wondered what I would do if people started coming regularly and whether I was ready for that kind of responsibility and commitment. For me, it’s a testament to the power of the yoga that now I am ready!!
We hope you will find the weekend inspiring and fun and we look forward to welcoming you, whether you want to take a cooking workshop, shakti dance, osteopathic treatment, or take your child to a meditation class.
All of the activities, are provided by local practitioners. All the practitioners are connected with yoga in some way, either as teachers or as students.
Bring all your friends, your children, all your relatives (please leave your pets at home though!).
Please e mail to book a class or a healing.
The event is free, but we do ask that if you are having a treatment of 20 minutes or more that you make a donation of £5 or more. This will go to the charities CamSight and CamMind, supported by the Sukhmani Centre and by OmniYoga Trust
Sat Nam, Namaste and God bless,
